The Policy explains what information Diesel Forward, Inc., Diesel Forward International, Inc., and its/their affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, officers, owners, directors, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the “Company”, “we”, “our” or “us”) collect in connection to your use of the Website, how the Company uses that information, how the Company processes and protects any personal information it obtains, and under what circumstances (if any) the Company may disclose any personal information it obtains to any one or more third parties.  The Policy also explains how you can contact the Company with respect to its privacy-related practices, and/or any rights you may have concerning the information we collect.

  • Personal Information That The Company May Collect From You

The Company collects personal information about you in various ways, including, but not limited to, through your visitation to and/or use of the Website, your communications with the Company, your submission of product orders, and your submission of job applications.  The Company may collect the following types of personal information (as permitted under applicable law):

  • The Company May Use Automated Data Collection Methods To Collect Additional Information Relating To Your Use Of The Website

When you visit the Website, the Company may collect certain information relating to your visit by automated means.  This information (collectively, “Usage Information”) may include the following: IP address, unique device identifier, browser characteristics, device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, information on actions taken on the Website, dates and times of visits to the Website and other usage statistics.

The Company may collect Usage Information through the use of various methods and technologies.  These methods and technologies may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Cookies.  A cookie is a data file placed on an electronic device (“Device”) when it is used to visit the Website.   2. Web Beacons. Small graphic images or other web programming code called web beacons (also known as “1x1 GIFs” or “clear GIFs”) may be included on the Website’s pages and messages. Web beacons or similar technologies may be used for a number of purposes, including, without limitation, to count visitors to the Website, to monitor how users navigate the Website, to count how many e-mails were actually opened and/or to count how many particular articles or links were actually viewed.

  3. Embedded Scripts. An embedded script is programming code that is designed to collect information about your interactions with the Website, such as the links you click on. The code is temporarily downloaded onto your Device from our web server or a third-party service provider, is active only while you are connected to the Website, and is deactivated or deleted thereafter.

  4. ETag, or entity tag. A feature of the cache in browsers. It is an opaque identifier assigned by a web server to a specific version of a resource found at a URL. If the resource content at that URL ever changes, a new and different ETag is assigned. ETag tracking may generate unique tracking values even where you block HTTP, Flash, and/or HTML5 cookies.

To the extent required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before collecting Usage Information using automated means.

  • Third-Parties May Also Use Automated Means To Collect Usage Information
